An innovative organisation in the industrial laser technology space is looking for a Software Engineer. This role focuses on the continuous development of a central laser marking software tool, ensuring reliability, efficiency, and high-quality architecture for real-world hardware applications.
What You'll Be Doing
- Developing and optimising laser marking software including feature development, maintenance, and refactoring.
- Implementing functions for operating logic, job layouts, process flows, and data handling.
- Managing interface and hardware connectivity for laser sources, axis systems, and peripheral industrial interfaces.
- Ensuring software quality and stability through debugging, error analysis, and robust release management.
- Collaborating closely with electronics, construction, and service teams to align software with physical hardware requirements.
What We're Looking For
- Several years of experience in software development, ideally within a technical or industrial environment.
- Strong proficiency in .NET, C#, C++, and C.
- Good knowledge of at least one additional language such as Python or Visual Basic.
- Experience with version control systems like Git and modern build/release processes.
- Professional fluency in German and a good command of English.
