About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Engineer specializing in C++ development to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and optimizing sophisticated medical software components that are integral to our healthcare solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including Architecture, Quality Assurance, and Product Management to ensure the delivery of high-quality, reliable, and scalable software. Your expertise will contribute to the enhancement of existing systems, the implementation of new features, and the integration of emerging technologies such as multithreading and parallel processing to improve system performance and stability. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess several years of professional experience in C++ development, preferably within high-performance and parallelized systems. A strong academic background with a university degree in computer science, mathematics, physics, electrical engineering, or a related technical discipline is essential, along with excellent academic grades. Proficiency in modern C++ standards (C++17/20), multithreading, concurrency models, debugging, and performance optimization is required. Familiarity with common build systems and continuous integration tools is also important. Fluency in English is mandatory, while proficiency in German is considered a plus. The candidate should demonstrate a structured and analytical approach to work, uphold high-quality standards, and exhibit a strong team-oriented mindset with enthusiasm for solving complex technical challenges.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop sophisticated C++ components for medical software solutions, emphasizing performance, stability, and scalability.
• Architect and implement complex multithreading and parallelization strategies to ensure efficient and safe concurrent processing.
• Collaborate closely with Architecture, Quality Assurance, and Product Management teams to deliver robust, maintainable, and high-quality software solutions.
• Analyze existing codebases to identify performance bottlenecks and optimize system performance through targeted improvements.
• Introduce and implement new technologies, tools, and best practices to elevate the engineering standards within the team.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation to ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
• Stay updated on emerging trends and advancements in C++ development and healthcare technology to continuously enhance technical expertise.
