The Role
• Drive the evolution of the global Manufacturing Execution System (MES) platform within SAP Digital Manufacturing.
• Connect production processes with modern IT architecture, advancing the digital transformation of manufacturing facilities.
• Translate functional requirements into scalable technical solution concepts and oversee their implementation.
• Provide technical leadership in discussions with SAP, internal teams, and external development partners.
• Develop and configure MES functionalities in alignment with the product roadmap.
• Contribute to architecture, integration, UI, and test design.
What You'll Need
• A degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of experience in developing or configuring MES systems, ideally SAP Digital Manufacturing.
• Proven experience in a production environment, including shop floor operations and factory control.
• Knowledge of integration architectures, such as SAP integration, interfaces, and APIs.
• Experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD, deployment processes, and ensuring system stability.
• Strong command of both German and English, in written and spoken form.
