Software Engineer (m/w/d)
A well-established global leader in the insurance and reinsurance sector is looking for a Software Engineer (m/w/d). You will design and implement high-performance software systems that support a unique hybrid sales model and process millions of customer inquiries. This role focuses on building the technical backbone of digital solutions, ranging from microservices to cloud infrastructures.
What you'll be doing
• Developing and implementing high-performance software for insurance sales channels
• Designing scalable technical architectures using microservices and cloud infrastructures
• Ensuring software quality through identification of vulnerabilities and performance optimization
• Modernizing the technological landscape by experimenting with innovative technical approaches
• Collaborating with international teams including business analysts and test managers
What we're looking for
• Degree in Computer Science or a related field with professional software engineering experience
• Proficiency in C#, .NET 8, API development (WCF/REST), and SQL Server
• Experience with frontend technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks
• Practical knowledge of agile methodologies, DevOps, and cloud containerization
• Professional communication skills in both German and English for international collaboration
