The Role
- Design and implement individual cloud architectures for high-quality and sustainable software solutions.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to establish appropriate automation and streamline deployments and rollouts.
- Ensure reliable, secure, and cost-efficient operation of software solutions through observability tools, hardening measures, and cost/resource management.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in DevOps and Cloud Engineering, sharing knowledge and fostering continuous improvement within teams and communities.
- Provide technical expertise to support sales activities.
- Contribute to complex digitalization projects with excellent cloud expertise.
What You'll Need
- A degree in Computer Science or a comparable educational background.
- Excellent German and English language skills (C1 level) for clear communication.
- Proven practical experience with various technologies in the Cloud-DevOps ecosystem, such as Ansible, Terraform, Kubernetes, Prometheus, and GitLab.
- Strong commitment to quality and practical development experience in software projects, with a deep understanding of software architectures, security, observability, and cost-efficiency.
- A strong belief in DevOps as a philosophy and culture, with a passion for continuous development and knowledge sharing.
- Certifications for a Cloud Provider (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, StackIT) are a plus.
