The Role
- Design and implement individual cloud architectures for high-quality and sustainable software solutions.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure appropriate automation and seamless, auditable deployments and rollouts.
- Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC), configuration management tools, and reusable deployment patterns.
- Ensure reliable, secure, and cost-effective operation of software solutions using observability tools, hardening measures, and cost/resource management.
- Stay current with advancements in DevOps and Cloud Engineering, fostering continuous improvement initiatives by sharing knowledge within teams and communities.
- Provide technical expertise to support sales efforts.
What You'll Need
- A degree in Computer Science or a comparable educational background.
- Excellent German and English language skills (C1-level) for clear communication.
- Proven practical experience in cloud DevOps ecosystems, strategically using technologies like Ansible, Terraform, Kubernetes, Prometheus, and GitLab.
- Strong commitment to quality and practical development experience in software projects.
- Deep understanding of software architectures, security, observability, and cost-efficiency.
- A strong belief in DevOps as a philosophy and culture, with a passion for continuous development and community involvement.
