About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analytics Engineer (d/m/w) to join our Data Analytics Team at Haufe Group. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining our central data platform, which serves as the foundation for all data analytics use cases across the organization. Your expertise will enable the company to leverage data more effectively, supporting strategic decision-making and operational excellence. You will work closely with cross-functional teams—including data scientists, developers, and business units—to translate complex requirements into scalable, secure, and reliable data solutions. Your ability to bridge the gap between technical engineering and business needs will be instrumental in driving data-driven innovation within the company.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background combined with excellent communication skills. You should have proven experience in data engineering, stakeholder management, and requirements engineering. Familiarity with agile methodologies such as Scrum and experience working across organizational boundaries are essential. You should demonstrate proficiency in DevOps practices, cloud infrastructures like AWS, and data modeling. Strong knowledge of SQL, Python, and TypeScript is required, along with experience in modern data tools and frameworks. Additional expertise in Infrastructure as Code, MLOps, and big data technologies such as Hadoop will be considered a plus. Fluency in German (minimum C1 level) and proactive, solution-oriented thinking are also important for success in this role.

- Identify opportunities for technological improvements and implement innovative solutions to enhance data infrastructure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
