Data Analyst
A leading innovator in the digital banking space is looking for a Data Analyst - Afc. This role is central to the Anti-Financial Crime team, focusing on leveraging data to enhance security and regulatory compliance. You will work within a high-tech environment to build data-driven solutions that protect the global banking platform.
What you'll be doing
• Develop and maintain complex data models to detect and prevent financial crime
• Monitor key performance indicators to ensure the effectiveness of AFC controls
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to automate regulatory reporting processes
• Perform deep-dive analyses to identify emerging patterns in fraudulent activity
• Translate technical data findings into actionable insights for senior stakeholders
What we're looking for
• Proven experience in data analytics or business intelligence within financial services
• Proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools such as Tableau or Looker
• Strong understanding of Anti-Financial Crime or Anti-Money Laundering frameworks
• Ability to manipulate large datasets to identify trends and anomalies
• Must be legally authorized to work in Germany
