About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineer with a passion for DevOps, cloud architecture, and software engineering to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in designing, implementing, and maintaining advanced cloud solutions for our diverse clientele. Your expertise will support the creation of secure, efficient, and sustainable cloud environments, leveraging the latest technologies and best practices. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including developers, operations, and business stakeholders to ensure seamless automation, deployment, and operational excellence. Qualifications
- Completed degree in Computer Science or a comparable educational background.
- Excellent proficiency in German and English (C1 level), enabling clear and confident communication within the team and with partners.
- Practical experience in cloud and DevOps environments, familiar with technologies such as Ansible, Terraform, Kubernetes, Prometheus, and GitLab.
- Hands-on experience in software development and architecture, with a strong understanding of security, observability, and cost management.
- Deep understanding of DevOps as a philosophy and culture, with a commitment to continuous learning and community engagement through conferences and practice groups.
- Certifications in cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or StackIT are advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Support clients in complex digital transformation projects by designing and implementing modern cloud architectures that are secure, reliable, and scalable.
- Take ownership of cloud solutions, ensuring high-quality, sustainable, and innovative software deployment.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and clients to develop customized cloud solutions tailored to specific business needs.
- Automate deployments and operations using Infrastructure as Code (IaC), configuration management tools, and reusable deployment patterns to ensure consistency and efficiency.
- Maintain high standards of security and operational excellence through observability tools, hardening measures, and resource management.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in DevOps and cloud engineering, sharing knowledge and fostering continuous improvement through community participation and internal initiatives.

Salary: 60.000 - 85.000 € per year
Requirements
