About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analytics Engineer (d/m/w) to join our Data Analytics Team in Freiburg. This pivotal role requires a professional who can seamlessly blend technical expertise, methodological clarity, and effective communication. As a core member of our team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining our central data platform, which underpins all data analytics use cases within the organization. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in data engineering, cloud infrastructure, and stakeholder communication. You should have proven experience in moderating requirements, working within agile environments, and managing cross-departmental collaborations. Fluency in German at a minimum of C1 level is essential for effective communication within the team and with stakeholders. You should demonstrate proactive problem-solving skills, a solutions-oriented mindset, and the ability to quickly grasp and explain complex technical concepts.
Technical expertise required includes advanced DevOps skills (Git, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, Docker), solid experience in data modeling, and familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS. Proficiency in SQL, TypeScript, and Python is necessary, with additional knowledge in Infrastructure as Code, MLOps, and Big Data technologies (e.g., Hadoop) considered advantageous. You should also have a fundamental understanding of compliance, security standards, and data governance practices essential for enterprise data platforms.
