About The Role

We are seeking a talented and versatile Frontend/Full Stack Web Developer with expertise in PHP and Vue.js to join our dynamic team in Berlin-Tempelhof. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects that directly impact the film and media industry. As part of our small, close-knit team, you will be involved in designing and implementing intuitive web interfaces, enhancing user experience, and contributing to backend development and infrastructure management. Your work will help shape the future of our innovative software products used by clients worldwide. The position requires a proactive attitude, flexibility, and a passion for developing high-quality, user-friendly solutions. You will collaborate closely with other developers, designers, and stakeholders to ensure our products meet the highest standards of performance, security, and usability. Additionally, you will have the chance to explore AI integration within our workflows, helping us leverage emerging technologies to optimize our offerings.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should possess a solid background in modern web development technologies and a keen interest in innovative solutions. Key qualifications include:

• Extensive experience with Vue.js or comparable modern JavaScript frameworks
• Proficiency in PHP, with familiarity in Yii2 or similar frameworks
• Strong skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript for responsive and accessible web interfaces
• Experience in UI/UX design principles and the ability to independently make design decisions
• Knowledge of backend API development and maintenance
• Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and server administration
• Understanding of video technologies, including embedded video players and FFMPEG-based transcoding pipelines
• Good command of German and English, both written and spoken
  
  

Preferred additional skills include experience with AI-driven development, agentic AI workflows, component libraries like Element+ or Quasar, and security or performance optimization expertise.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop complex, yet intuitive, web interfaces using Vue.js and Element+
• Contribute to UI/UX design processes, from wireframes to final implementation, ensuring an excellent user experience
• Maintain and enhance our PHP/Yii2-based APIs and backend services for stability and scalability
• Evaluate and integrate AI tools and agents into our development workflows and products to streamline processes and add innovative features
• Participate in the development and management of CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, and server infrastructure
• Conduct systematic bug analysis and troubleshooting across the entire technology stack
• Work with embedded video players and support video encoding/transcoding pipelines using FFMPEG
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality, security, and performance standards are met
