About The Role
We are seeking a talented Data Engineer to join our team, focusing on developing and implementing scalable data solutions within the cloud environment. In this role, you will be responsible for designing data integration solutions for Data Warehouse, Data Lake, and Data Platform architectures, with a particular emphasis on Databricks. You will implement efficient data platforms on the Databricks platform, ensuring they meet the scalability and performance requirements of our clients. As a project lead, you will coordinate cloud data engineering projects, working closely with clients and internal teams to deliver innovative solutions. You will serve as the primary technical contact for your team, providing guidance on complex challenges and supporting the development of team members. Additionally, you will contribute to shaping our consulting strategy by sharing your expertise, fostering innovation, and integrating modern data architectures to prepare our clients for future analytics needs.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a completed degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification, along with relevant practical experience in Data & Analytics consulting or software engineering. You should possess strong technical skills in Databricks, Spark, PySpark, Delta Lake, and Unity Catalog. Proven expertise in utilizing Databricks for data processing and analytics is essential. Additionally, you should have excellent project management skills, with the ability to coordinate teams and manage client relationships effectively. Knowledge of AI tools and their application within data projects is highly desirable, along with a critical approach to evaluating AI-generated results. Fluency in German and good command of English are required to communicate confidently within international teams and with clients.
