About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analytics Engineer (d/m/w) to join our Data Analytics Team in Freiburg. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in building and scaling our central data platform, which serves as the backbone for all data analytics use cases within the organization. You will bridge the gap between technical engineering and business requirements, translating complex data needs into robust, scalable solutions. Your expertise will ensure the integrity, security, and sustainability of our data landscape, enabling data-driven decision-making across the company.

The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical proficiency, methodological clarity, and excellent communication skills. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, developers, and business stakeholders, to design and implement data pipelines, optimize data processes, and uphold compliance standards. This role offers a unique opportunity to influence the company's data strategy and contribute to innovative analytics initiatives that drive business success.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in stakeholder communication, requirements engineering, and moderating cross-departmental discussions.
• Strong understanding of agile methodologies such as Scrum and experience working in cross-organizational teams.
• Excellent communication skills in German (minimum C1 level).
• Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines.
• Ability to quickly grasp complex concepts, structure information clearly, and communicate effectively.
• Extensive DevOps expertise, including Git, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and containerization with Docker.
• Solid experience in data modeling and cloud infrastructure, particularly with AWS.
• Proficiency in SQL, TypeScript, and Python programming languages.
• Nice-to-have skills include experience with Infrastructure as Code, MLOps, and Big Data technologies such as Hadoop.
