The Role
- Design and implement individual cloud architectures for high-quality, sustainable software solutions.
- Collaborate with developers and operators to ensure appropriate automation, smooth, and auditable deployments and rollouts.
- Utilize Infrastructure as Code, configuration management tools, and reusable deployment patterns.
- Ensure reliable, secure, and cost-efficient operation of software solutions through observability tools, hardening measures, and cost/resource management.
- Stay updated with DevOps and Cloud Engineering developments, fostering initiatives for continuous improvement by sharing knowledge within teams and communities.
- Provide technical expertise to support sales efforts.
What You'll Need
- A degree in Computer Science or a comparable educational background.
- Excellent German and English language skills (C1 level) for clear communication.
- Proven practical experience in cloud DevOps ecosystems, strategically utilizing technologies like Ansible, Terraform, Kubernetes, Prometheus, and GitLab.
- Demonstrated practical development experience in software projects, understanding software architectures from implementation, with a strong sense for security, observability, and cost-efficiency.
- A deep understanding of DevOps as a philosophy and culture, with a passion for continuous development and knowledge sharing.
- Cloud provider certifications (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, StackIT) are a plus.
