About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data & Process Analyst to join our SLP-Stammdatenaufbau team based in Dortmund. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for analyzing and optimizing end-to-end processes related to device changes and grid connections within the energy distribution sector. Your expertise will help streamline cross-departmental workflows, improve data quality, and support the implementation of innovative solutions across the organization. You will work closely with interdisciplinary teams, managing process improvements, developing KPIs, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Your insights will directly impact the efficiency of our operations and contribute to the ongoing digital transformation of Westnetz.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate holds a university degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in Energy Economics, Business Administration, Business Informatics, or a related field. You should demonstrate excellent proficiency in German (C2 level) and good command of English (B2 level), both spoken and written. A minimum of five years of professional experience within the German energy sector, particularly with distribution network operators, is essential. You should possess in-depth knowledge of energy business processes, especially device and grid connection procedures, and have practical experience working with SAP ISU or SAP S/4 Utilities modules, including SAP MCM and SAP IM4G. Familiarity with data structures and master data management in SAP S/4 Utilities is highly advantageous. Strong analytical skills, a structured approach to complex problems, and the ability to challenge existing workflows for greater efficiency are crucial. Additionally, you should demonstrate resilience, focus on solutions, and excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively across teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Analyze Fachbereichsprozesse (department-specific processes) related to device changes and network connections from an end-to-end perspective, focusing on cross-departmental interfaces and dependencies.
• Define and regularly evaluate KPIs to monitor and steer relevant processes, delving into data structures and creating insightful queries and dashboards for management and operational teams.
• Identify process errors and optimization opportunities, coordinating with cross-company teams and ensuring their implementation within Westnetz GmbH.
• Drive initiatives for process enhancement, including automation and workarounds, overseeing society-wide projects, and coordinating internal data corrections to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Prepare for new legal requirements related to device and network connection processes, taking on central roles in related projects and providing training to internal and external staff.
• Handle escalated customer complaints, including those from executives or regulatory authorities, ensuring prompt resolution with a focus on customer satisfaction.
