About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analytics Engineer (d/m/w) to join our Data Analytics Team in Freiburg. This pivotal role involves building and maintaining our central data platform, which serves as the foundation for all data analytics use cases across the organization. You will work closely with data scientists, developers, and business units to translate complex requirements into scalable and secure data solutions. Your expertise will ensure the quality, security, and sustainability of our data landscape, enabling data-driven decision-making at all levels of the company.
The ideal candidate combines technical engineering proficiency with methodical clarity and excellent communication skills. You will facilitate cross-functional collaboration, structure intricate data scenarios, and ensure that data insights are accessible, understandable, and actionable for stakeholders. Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess a strong background in data engineering, cloud infrastructure, and stakeholder communication. Key qualifications include experience in moderating stakeholder requirements, requirements engineering, and working within agile frameworks such as Scrum. Proficiency in German (minimum C1 level) is essential for effective communication within the team and with stakeholders.
Technical expertise should include comprehensive knowledge of DevOps practices, including Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and monitoring tools. Experience in data modeling and cloud platforms such as AWS is required, along with proficiency in SQL, TypeScript, and Python. Additional familiarity with Infrastructure as Code, MLOps, and Big Data technologies like Hadoop is advantageous. A proactive, solution-oriented mindset, combined with the ability to quickly grasp complex concepts and convey them clearly, is crucial for success in this role.
