About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Frontend Developer for our Webshop team at Hygi.de. In this role, you will be instrumental in advancing the technical development of our hygi.de Webshop within the existing system architecture. Your expertise will help shape our long-term strategy by integrating modern architectural approaches such as API-first, headless models, edge, and cloud-native frontend architectures. You will be responsible for developing reusable components, optimizing user experience, and ensuring high performance and accessibility standards. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where innovation and continuous improvement are valued. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless, responsive, and user-centric interfaces that meet the evolving needs of our customers and business objectives.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background with excellent knowledge of HTML, CSS (including CSS3 and SCSS), and modern JavaScript frameworks such as Vue.js or React. A solid understanding of component-based architecture with an emphasis on reusability and clear separation of concerns is essential. Experience with performance optimization, Core Web Vitals, and responsive web design is required. Proficiency in version control systems like Git and familiarity with modern build tools such as Webpack, Vite, or Encore are crucial. Candidates should have a good grasp of cross-browser compatibility, accessibility standards (WCAG 2.2), and technical SEO fundamentals. Experience working with REST or GraphQL APIs, along with strategic thinking, proactive problem-solving, and a willingness to learn, are highly valued. Additional qualifications include basic knowledge of API design, authentication, and system architecture, as well as familiarity with testing tools like Cypress, Playwright, or Storybook.

Additionally, you will stay updated with the latest frontend trends and technologies, proactively suggesting improvements and innovative solutions to enhance our platform's capabilities.
