We're working with a leading consulting firm that specializes in digital transformation and business intelligence solutions, helping clients optimize their processes and data landscapes. They are seeking a talented professional to contribute to their innovative data projects.
The Role
- Manage and maintain the backend of their BI solution and underlying database structures
- Analyze requirements and translate them into robust data models, key figure systems, and reports
- Monitor, analyze, and optimize database and pipeline performance
- Design, program, and maintain ETL processes and import scripts (Python, optional C)
- Integrate external data sources and ensure stable operation, maintainability, and error handling
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide accurate and meaningful metrics for clients and consultants
What You'll Need
- Completed IT education or equivalent qualification with practical experience in data, BI, or databases, or a degree in computer science, business informatics, or a related field
- Professional experience and strong knowledge in database environments, ideally complemented by BI knowledge
- Excellent skills in MySQL and SQL, with experience in data modeling and building/operating ETL pipelines
- Proficient in Python programming; C is a plus
- Experience with Linux, Shell, server access, and VPNs
- Structured, process-oriented work style with an understanding of stable, maintainable systems
- Professional working proficiency in German is required.
