About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Backend Developer with expertise in C#.NET to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in developing, maintaining, and modernizing our software solutions tailored for the leisure industry. You will work closely with key clients, analyzing their requirements, providing technical advice, and implementing scalable backend solutions. Your responsibilities will include enhancing existing systems, creating new modules for our web portal, and developing microservices using C#, ASP.NET, and REST APIs. Additionally, you will be involved in database development with T-SQL, ensuring seamless integration and communication between our systems and those of our clients. This role offers the opportunity to work on innovative projects in a collaborative environment, contributing to the digital transformation of our clients’ after-sales services.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess a university degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a comparable qualification. You should have a minimum of five years of hands-on experience in backend development with C#, ASP.NET, and T-SQL. Strong knowledge of Azure DevOps processes, CI/CD pipelines, and experience working with legacy systems are essential. Excellent communication skills in both German and English (at least C1 level) are required, along with proficiency in Microsoft Visual Studio or Visual Studio Code. A structured, autonomous working style and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team are vital for success in this role.

- Engage in backend and database development, focusing on T-SQL and data management.
- Create and maintain interfaces between our systems and client systems, ensuring interoperability.
- Analyze legacy codebases (.NET 4.8, WebForms) and execute step-by-step modernization strategies.
