Software Engineer | Hybrid
We're hiring on behalf of a renowned customer in the aerospace and defence sector, known for their innovative solutions and critical contributions to national security. This employer works on cutting-edge projects, offering a dynamic environment for software professionals.
The Role
• Communicate with stakeholders to gather and understand software requirements
• Define and architect software foundations for simulation control, instructor operating, and flight training debriefing stations
• Design intuitive user interfaces and UI/UX concepts for complex systems
• Develop, test, and maintain software using C++ & Qt/QML, adhering to best practices
• Analyze and debug software issues, ensuring high-quality, maintainable code
• Participate in agile development methodologies, including planning, stand-up, review, and retrospective meetings
What You'll Need
• Completed studies in computer science, software engineering, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in IT or information systems
• Deep knowledge and practical experience with C++ and Qt/QML for UI development
• Experience or a strong interest in simulation environments is helpful
• Fluent German and English skills, both spoken and written
