Software Engineer | Hybrid
This employer is a leading aerospace and defense company, dedicated to developing and maintaining vital Ground Support Systems for advanced aircraft platforms. They are at the forefront of mission data library preparation and evaluation, particularly in electronic warfare, defensive aids, and sensor fusion.
The Role
• Develop and maintain Ground Support Systems for prominent aircraft platforms
• Analyze avionics system design and requirements
• Develop and execute test plans to verify technical specifications
• Define and adapt design requirements for mission data generation, including workflow
• Support test evaluation of system performance in laboratory environments
• Operate system and test equipment to assess functional and performance requirements
What You'll Need
• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace, or Telecommunications
• Over 4 years of experience in Electrical Engineering, Engineering, IT/Information Systems, or Aerospace
• Strong knowledge of systems/software engineering lifecycle and experience in all phases
• Expertise in self-defensive systems, radar systems, and electronic support systems
• In-depth understanding of Electronic Warfare principles and Electronic Warfare Support
• Proficiency with MS-Office, DOORS, Jira, Confluence, and Atlassian software development
• Fluent in English and German
