About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analytics Engineer (d/m/w) to join our Data Analytics Team in Freiburg. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in building and maintaining our central data platform, which serves as the foundation for all data-driven initiatives within the organization. Your expertise will facilitate the translation of complex business requirements into scalable, secure, and reliable data solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, developers, and business stakeholders, to ensure the integrity, security, and sustainability of our data landscape. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in data engineering, with extensive experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining data platforms. Candidates should demonstrate excellent communication skills in German (minimum C1 level) and have experience working in agile environments, such as Scrum. A solid understanding of DevOps practices, including Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and monitoring, is required. Knowledge of data modeling, Big Data technologies (e.g., Hadoop), and Infrastructure as Code (IaC), MLOps, is considered a plus. The ability to quickly grasp complex technical and business contexts and to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders is crucial.
