About The Role

We are seeking a versatile Frontend/Full Stack Web Developer with expertise in PHP and Vue.js to join our dynamic team in Berlin-Tempelhof. In this role, you will work across various domains, including front-end development, UI/UX design, backend API development, and DevOps tasks. Your contributions will directly impact the development and enhancement of our core products, SHARC and COPRA, as well as other innovative software solutions. You will have the opportunity to influence the user experience of our platforms, ensuring they are intuitive, responsive, and aligned with industry needs. The role offers a unique environment where film technology meets modern software engineering, providing the chance to work on diverse projects, from designing user interfaces to integrating AI tools into our workflows. As part of a close-knit team, you will collaborate with colleagues to develop scalable, high-performance applications, contribute to continuous integration and deployment pipelines, and occasionally work with embedded video technologies such as FFMPEG. Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates should possess solid experience with Vue.js or comparable modern JavaScript frameworks, demonstrating proficiency in building complex, user-friendly web interfaces. A strong foundation in PHP, preferably with experience in Yii2 or similar frameworks, is essential. Candidates should be comfortable working with HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript/TypeScript, with a keen eye for UI/UX design principles and the ability to make design decisions independently. Flexibility, initiative, and a proactive attitude are important, as the role involves working on various tasks and projects that require innovative thinking. Fluency in both German and English, spoken and written, is required. Additional valuable skills include experience with AI development, knowledge of agent-based AI systems like Claude Code or Codex, familiarity with component libraries such as Element+ or Quasar, and expertise in video encoding/transcoding using FFMPEG. A background in security or performance optimization is considered a plus, as is experience with CI/CD processes and server management. Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will include designing, developing, and maintaining web interfaces and applications using Vue.js and Element+. You will contribute to the UI/UX design process, transforming wireframes into functional, visually appealing interfaces. On the backend, you will enhance and support our PHP/Yii2-based APIs and services, ensuring they are efficient, secure, and scalable. Evaluating and integrating AI tools into our workflows and products will be a key aspect of your role, helping us leverage the latest advancements in artificial intelligence to improve our software solutions. You will work closely with the DevOps team to develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines, manage deployment processes, and administer servers to ensure high availability and performance. Bug fixing, quality assurance, and systematic error analysis will be part of your routine to maintain the stability and reliability of our applications. Additionally, you may occasionally work with embedded video players and the FFMPEG transcoding pipeline, gaining exposure to media processing technologies. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, participating in code reviews, and contributing innovative ideas to enhance our products are integral to this role.
