About The Role
We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team and play a vital role in enhancing our Linux infrastructure and deployment pipelines. As a DevOps Engineer at Mondas, you will work closely with our development team to elevate our CI/CD processes and application monitoring systems. Your pragmatic approach to problem-solving and your commitment to operational excellence will be key to maintaining and improving the stability, security, and performance of our cloud-based platform. Regular onsite presence in Freiburg is expected to ensure seamless collaboration and alignment with our team. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Linux system administration and DevOps practices. A proven track record in managing cloud infrastructure, automating deployment pipelines, and ensuring system security is essential. Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar, along with scripting skills in Bash, Python, or comparable languages, is required. Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes is highly desirable. Excellent problem-solving skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment are crucial. A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred, but relevant professional experience is equally valued.
Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor our Linux-based server infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, stability, and security.
- Develop, maintain, and continuously improve our CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment processes and reduce time-to-market for new features.
- Implement and oversee security best practices to safeguard our platform from potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate closely with the development team to optimize resource management and enhance the scalability of our high-performance, in-house developed analysis platform.
- Participate in incident response and troubleshooting to swiftly resolve operational issues and minimize downtime.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of our infrastructure architecture, ensuring it aligns with industry standards and best practices.
- Document processes, configurations, and operational procedures to maintain clarity and facilitate onboarding of new team members.
