About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled IT-Data Engineer with a focus on software development and project management to join our dynamic team in Kassel, Germany. In this full-time position, you will play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining digital solutions across our organization. Your primary responsibility will be to design, implement, and optimize applications on our digitalization platform, supporting various sectors such as energy, public transportation, network management, and power generation. You will ensure that all solutions adhere to our IT strategy and security standards while managing multiple projects and coordinating requirements for digital transformation initiatives. Your expertise will contribute to enhancing data ingestion, transformation, storage, and presentation, facilitating seamless data exchange and automation within our operational environment.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in Business Informatics, Mathematics with an IT focus, or an equivalent qualification. You should have several years of professional experience in related roles, particularly in data architecture, software development, and project management. Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or SQL for data transformation tasks is essential. Familiarity with our digitalization systems, including inubit, Simplifier, UIPath, or PowerBI, is highly desirable. Additionally, candidates should have good command of English in a professional context and demonstrate a solid understanding of data structures and system architecture.
Responsibilities
As an IT-Data Engineer, your key responsibilities will include developing various applications and solutions on our digital platform, ensuring compliance with IT security and strategic guidelines. You will take ownership of multi-project management, handling requirements collection, analysis, and prioritization for digitalization initiatives. Your role involves designing and implementing interfaces for data sharing and distribution, supporting the expansion of our data warehouse solutions, and automating workflows by translating operational processes into automation requirements.
