About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Developer specializing in C#.NET to join our dynamic team. This role is primarily focused on developing, maintaining, and enhancing backend systems and microservices that support our innovative solutions for the leisure and after-sales industry. As a Senior Backend Developer, you will work closely with key clients and cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, implement complex features, and modernize legacy systems. Your expertise will contribute to delivering high-quality, scalable, and efficient software that empowers our clients to optimize their after-sales processes. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a university degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a comparable qualification. You should have at least five years of practical experience in backend development using C#, ASP.NET, and T-SQL, with a proven track record of delivering robust software solutions. Familiarity with Azure DevOps workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and working with legacy systems is essential. Excellent communication skills in both German and English (minimum C1 level) are required, along with proficiency in Microsoft Visual Studio or Visual Studio Code. Additional knowledge in MSSQL database administration, Python, SciKit, n8n, hosting local large language models, and mobile application development will be considered advantageous. A structured, autonomous working style combined with strong problem-solving abilities is key to succeeding in this role.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with key clients to understand their technical needs and provide expert advice on backend solutions.
• Analyze customer requirements and translate them into effective technical implementations.
• Maintain, refactor, and enhance existing software systems, ensuring stability and performance.
• Develop and integrate modules for our web portal tailored to customer-specific needs.
• Design, implement, and operate microservices using C#, ASP.NET, and RESTful APIs.
• Engage in backend development and database management with C#, ASP.NET, and T-SQL.
• Create and maintain interfaces between our systems and those of our clients to ensure seamless data exchange.
• Conduct analysis, maintenance, and modernization of legacy codebases, particularly those based on .NET 4.8 and WebForms.
• Participate in agile development processes, including planning, code reviews, and continuous integration.
