We are working with the central IT service provider for the justice system in Lower Saxony, responsible for a modern IT infrastructure supporting approximately 23,500 PC workstations. This public sector organisation also drives numerous digitalisation projects for a modern legal system, supported by a dedicated team of over 400 colleagues.
The Role
- Operate the IT infrastructure used within the Lower Saxony justice system as part of a cross-functional DevSecOps team
- Administer and continuously develop the container platform (e.g., Kubernetes, GitLab, Kasten IO) based on RedHat OpenShift
- Ensure the constant availability of data required by the courts and public prosecutors in Lower Saxony
- Support specialist teams with the onboarding and introduction of container-based applications
What You'll Need
- Relevant degree in information technology and at least two years of professional experience, or equivalent skills and IT qualifications
- Strong knowledge in the administration of container and container orchestration technologies (Kubernetes, RedHat OpenShift)
- Proficiency in common DevOps tools (GitLab, Argo CD, Helm, etc.)
- Familiarity with Linux is desirable
- Experience in automating recurring tasks and processes using Ansible or other frameworks is a plus
- Knowledge of agile working methods (SCRUM, Kanban, etc.) is beneficial
- Team player with initiative and a service-oriented mindset
- C1 German language skills and standard IT English skills
