The Role
- Develop and enhance the core codebase within an agile, cross-functional team.
- Contribute constructively to team discussions, decision-making, and problem-solving.
- Proactively find and implement robust technical solutions for new features.
- Work independently, addressing problems directly or collaborating with colleagues.
- Continuously learn new technical and domain knowledge for application in tasks.
- Contribute high-quality code to ensure the ongoing success of the product suite.
What You'll Need
- Several years of experience in developing cloud-based applications.
- Strong knowledge of microservice architectures, database design, and RESTful APIs.
- Excellent proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
- Familiarity with frontend frameworks (especially React) and AWS, or willingness to learn.
- Intrinsic interest in high-quality software development and structured work approach.
- Ability to understand customer perspectives to optimize payroll processes.
- Passion for agile software development (Scrum) and iterative methodologies.
- Very good German language skills (at least C2).
