About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT professional to join our team at BWI GmbH. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting the ongoing modernization and operation of our extensive IT infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include managing complex IT systems, implementing security protocols, and ensuring the seamless delivery of IT services to meet the operational needs of the Bundeswehr. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic, mission-critical environment. Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale IT infrastructures, preferably within government or defense sectors.
- Strong knowledge of network architecture, cybersecurity, and system administration.
- Experience with cloud computing, virtualization, and modern IT deployment methods.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse technical and non-technical teams.
- Fluency in German and proficiency in English are preferred.
- Relevant certifications such as Cisco, CompTIA, or Microsoft are advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain complex IT systems, ensuring high availability and performance.
