An innovative organisation in the digital education space is looking for a Full Stack Engineer. This role focuses on developing interactive learning platforms that support literacy and media skills for primary school students, working closely with a dedicated product team.
What You'll Be Doing
- Developing new features and enhancing existing platform functions using React, TypeScript, and Elixir/Phoenix LiveView.
- Building the technical foundation for a new video player based on Vidstack as a core development project.
- Ensuring a stable and maintainable platform through clean code practices, automated testing, and clear documentation.
- Utilising CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and participating in peer code reviews to maintain high quality standards.
- Collaborating on technical decisions and architectural improvements alongside the Product Owner and development team.
What We're Looking For
- Solid experience in full-stack development with React and a server-side language such as Elixir or similar technologies.
- Proficiency with TypeScript, REST APIs, and relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
- Ability to navigate and incrementally improve an existing codebase with a pragmatic approach.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently within a collaborative team environment.
- Legally authorized to work in Germany and a genuine interest in contributing to digital education solutions.
