The Role
- Ensure the availability, stability, security, performance, and scalability of BI/ML platforms (e.g., Microsoft Power BI, MS SSIS)
- Design and operate modern, container-based data platforms (Kubernetes/EKS) in cloud and hybrid environments, actively participating in architectural and decision-making processes
- Systematically automate and optimize processes using CI/CD pipelines, GitOps (e.g., ArgoCD), and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform)
- Design and maintain monitoring and logging solutions to advance the observability landscape
- Develop backup and disaster recovery concepts for seamless operations and ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards
- Support specialist departments and data teams as a second-level support contact
What You'll Need
- A degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or relevant professional experience in BI/Data Science
- Strong knowledge of cloud and container technologies (AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, Docker), with practical experience preferred
- Familiarity with Python, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, GitOps, and security best practices
- Experience in data integration, software development, or data science is beneficial
- Interest in automation (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, ArgoCD) and structured, clean documentation
- Goal-oriented and proactive initiative, including independent work and active problem-solving skills
- Excellent German language skills; English proficiency is a plus
