About The Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced DevOps Engineer (m/w/d) to join our dynamic team at our Erlangen or Forchheim locations. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and maintaining our software development pipelines, ensuring seamless integration and delivery of our products. Your expertise will help optimize our development processes, automate build and deployment systems, and support our teams in delivering high-quality software efficiently.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in DevOps practices, proficiency in C# and modern technologies, and hands-on experience with automation frameworks and tools such as Microsoft Visual Studio and Team Foundation Server. You will work closely with development, testing, and operations teams to enhance our continuous integration and delivery workflows, troubleshoot operational issues, and contribute to the ongoing improvement of our software infrastructure.

Qualifications

• A completed degree in computer science or a comparable qualification.
• Proven project experience in large-scale software development projects, preferably in a DevOps role.
• Solid knowledge of MSBuild and various automation frameworks.
• Practical experience with build automation, continuous integration, and continuous delivery tools, especially Microsoft Team Foundation Server.
• Expertise in configuring and customizing TFS build and release processes to meet specific project requirements.
• Deep understanding of operating and maintaining continuous delivery pipelines.
• Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve automation or product errors effectively.
• Proficiency in C# programming language and familiarity with modern technologies.
• Results-oriented mindset, excellent teamwork, quick learner, and effective communication skills.
• Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
  
  

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement integrated processes for software development using tools like Microsoft Visual Studio and Team Foundation Server.
• Manage and optimize the operation of continuous delivery pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable software deployment.
• Create and configure automated deployment pipelines, supporting the automation of build and release processes.
• Enhance and expand existing development and testing environments to support evolving project needs.
• Conduct independent error analysis in operational environments, identifying root causes and implementing solutions.
• Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to build, deployment, and operational processes.
• Maintain documentation of processes, configurations, and system updates to ensure transparency and knowledge sharing.
• Stay updated with the latest DevOps trends and technologies, recommending improvements to existing workflows.
