gaming platform to data-driven analytics. We operate as a small, highly experienced unit where architectural discussion and R&D are central to our workflow.
The Mission: We are looking for a proactive engineer to help us scale our high-load platform. Your focus will be a mix of
stability, performance engineering, and new feature development. If you enjoy working with distributed systems and conducting performance-based R&D, you'll fit right in.
Requirements
- 4+ years of commercial experience with Python;
- Strong understanding of algorithms and data structures;
- Solid experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL or similar);
- Experience designing scalable backend systems;
- Good written English (for documentation and communication);
- Native Ukrainian (spoken and written);
Would be plus
- Experience with non-relational databases (Cassandra, Redis/KeyDB, etc.);
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes;
- Experience working with high-load or distributed systems
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-load backend services;
- Improve system performance, scalability, and reliability;
- Take part in architectural decisions and technical discussions;
- Optimize and evolve existing systems and tools;
- Participate in code reviews and engineering best practices;
- Collaborate closely with the team to define priorities and solutions;
- Write clear technical documentation
