PROMSERV Group of Companies was established in 1982 in Malaysia primarily to provide specialised services in site tests; commissioning; maintenance; fault diagnosis and system rectification of electrical installations and power plants. It is authorized by the Suruhanjaya Tenaga (formerly JBE), Malaysia to conduct the above mentioned range of work on installation and plants of voltages from 415Volt to 275Kilovolt.

Based on a wide range of field experience gained over the years since its inception, PROMSERV has improved on and extended its specialization beyond the primary ambit of services into a new frontier of Non-intrusive Predictive Maintenance for electrical protection system using its patented "live and loaded" maintenance audit technology.
