Requirements:
- California Workers’ Compensation experience preferred.
- Applicant-side experience preferred.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and MerusCase (JET FILE/Efiler).
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team, take initiative, set priorities, and see projects through completion.
Responsibilities:
- Object to DORs and denials within schematic time frames to control cases.
- Set hearings with WCAB.
- Prepare files for hearings and depositions for litigation of cases.
- Act as a liaison between physicians for clients in and out of MPN.
- Handle new case intake.
- Retrieve employer and treatment facility records via subpoena.
- Prepare and serve files, exhibits, pre-trial conference statements, etc.
Job Details:
- Job Type: Full-time (remote position).
- 8-hour shift (Monday to Friday).
