At Sii Group Colombia, we are looking for talent for the role of Senior Software Development Engineer (Java / Node.js) in a technology project for the hospitality industry. This is an international project, working with technical teams in India and the United States.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and evolve high-volume backend solutions using Java and Node.js.
- Provide production support: monitoring, root cause analysis and timely resolution of incidents.
- Optimize platform performance, scalability and reliability.
- Build and optimize SQL queries over large datasets.
- Drive the resolution of complex technical issues autonomously, working with distributed teams.
Essential Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in backend software development.
- Advanced Java expertise (ideally Java 21), including JVM concepts and garbage collection.
- Solid experience with Node.js for backend development.
- Strong SQL skills in Oracle and MySQL.
- Experience in production support and application troubleshooting.
- English level C1.
