Pros: I do like having 2 WFH days each week; it saves a ton of commute time. For a data analyst, my manager is sometimes cool with flexible hours if you get your work done. That's a solid perk in the fintech industry.
Cons: The issue is consistency. Some teams don't really buy into the hybrid model, making it tough to use your WFH days. There's often pressure to come into the Shanghai office even when you're scheduled remote, which defeats the purpose of work flexibility.
Advice to Management: Really commit to the hybrid work policy. Make sure all managers are on the same page about WFH days and flexible hours, especially for critical roles like data analysts. It helps with morale.
