C++ Optimization Engineer at BairesDev

As a C++ Optimization Engineer, you will design and optimize high-performance algorithms for large-scale autonomous systems. You will focus on efficiency, latency, and system-wide performance tuning to ensure seamless execution in mission-critical robotics environments.

What You'll Do:

- Design and implement high-performance algorithms with a focus on low-latency and efficient resource utilization.

- Profile and analyze complex software systems to identify bottlenecks and areas for architectural optimization.

- Perform deep systems tuning and micro-optimizations across CPU, memory, and specialized hardware components.

- Optimize pathfinding, solvers, and graph-based logic to enhance the performance of autonomous platforms.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate optimized components into production-grade systems.

- Establish best practices for performance engineering, including automated benchmarking and regression testing.

What we are looking for:

- 4+ years of experience in Software Engineering with a focus on performance optimization or systems programming.

- Proven expertise in C++ development and deep understanding of algorithm design.

- Proficiency in systems tuning and optimizing high-performance algorithms for latency and efficiency.

- Hands-on experience with memory management, threading, and hardware-specific performance bottlenecks.

- Strong background in large-scale autonomous systems or robotics environments.

- Advanced proficiency in English.

Nice to have:

- Background in perception or computer vision.

- Experience optimizing graph/path algorithms or solvers.
