Senior Python Developer (Apache Ecosystem) at BairesDev
We are seeking a Senior Python Developer with expertise in Apache project contribution, data processing, automation, and big data ecosystem integration. The technology stack includes popular open source Apache projects with Python integration - Spark, Kafka, and related ecosystem tools. Thus, there is ample scope for collaboration and contribution to open source. The ideal candidate will develop and optimize high-performance data processing systems, contribute as a core contributor to Apache projects, and collaborate with engineering teams to deliver innovative big data and AI/ML solutions.
What You'll Do
- Contribute actively as a core contributor to Apache open source projects with Python components.
- Develop and optimize Python-based data processing systems for large-scale analytics.
- Implement automation frameworks for big data ecosystem integration and workflows.
- Build AI/ML integration solutions with Apache stack technologies.
- Design scalable data processing architectures using Python for high-throughput applications.
- Collaborate with engineering teams on system integration and deployment.
What We Are Looking For
- 10+ years of experience in software development with strong Python expertise.
- Proven experience as a core contributor to Apache open source projects.
- Strong experience with Apache Spark for large-scale data processing.
- Deep understanding of automation techniques for distributed data systems.
- Proficiency in AI/ML integration with Apache stack technologies.
- Advanced level of English.
