Image Processing Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative (Senior) Image Processing Engineer to join our Optical Testing team at NILT CH. In this pivotal role, you will lead the development of cutting-edge image quality extraction pipelines and data-driven solutions for our automated optical test systems. Your work will focus on image analysis, parameter extraction, and AI-powered algorithms that drive performance evaluation and customer success. Your responsibilities will span various aspects of image processing, data engineering, and analytics.
You will be at the forefront of transforming complex image data into actionable insights, enabling informed decision-making, and contributing directly to NILT’s success.
You will be joining a dynamic team based in our newly built office and cleanroom facilities, conveniently located next to the Horgen (CH) train station.
Tasks and responsibilities
Design and implement robust image quality extraction pipelines for automated optical test systems, ensuring scalability and accuracy in performance evaluation.
Apply machine learning and AI techniques for parameter extraction from complex image datasets. Use statistical and predictive modeling to uncover trends and enable data-driven decision-making.
Develop and optimize image processing algorithms for GPU acceleration to meet high-throughput demands.
Build structured data management solutions and visualization tools that deliver real-time insights and support process optimization.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand image analysis challenges and deliver tailored solutions for image analysis and data extraction.
