Pros: The best part about this job was undoubtedly the location in Interlaken, Switzerland. Waking up to mountain views daily was incredible. The team I worked with was supportive and fun, making even busy days enjoyable. We had a great camaraderie, and it felt like a small, welcoming family. Interacting with international tourists was also a big plus.
Cons: While the leadership was generally well-intentioned, communication could sometimes be a bit inconsistent, leading to occasional confusion about tasks or priorities. There were also times when extra staff support would have been beneficial during peak tourist seasons to better manage the workload and prevent burnout among the existing team members in this hospitality setting.
Advice to Management: Consider enhancing inter-departmental communication and proactively planning for seasonal staffing needs to ensure a smoother operation and better support for the frontline team.
