Play tourist and take the ETS via KL Sentral to Ipoh or road trip it. MALACCA

23 LoveLane Hotel

At one glance, this hotel looks like a regular large house with high walls and a fancy gate. What makes it special? 23 Love Lane is a 10 room boutique heritage hotel situated in the heart of George Town and it boasts a rich and colourful history in its architectural design; dating back to the beginning of the 1800s. Besides the uniquely decorated rooms, the lounge areas also carry a certain je ne sais quo which makes them so inviting, you’d want to curl up reading a book on one of their couches the entire day. As for F&B, they’ve got a restaurant adjacent to the hotel called SteakFrites@23 and they serve a mean steak; some Penangites may say the best in town.

A restored shophouse, Ren i Tang is a heritage inn with 17 rooms in total.
