Summary
Reporting to the IT Director, this hands-on position is responsible for participating in the development, design, modification, and maintenance of software applications at Savaria. This position will 100% on site at 2 Walker Drive, Brampton, Ontario, Canada.
Essential Duties And Requirements
- Participate in software development life cycle and solution activities (analysis and design, estimates, testing, etc.), including in house web applications
- Deliver high-quality code that is tested and documented
- Comply with established quality standards and software development best practices
- Modify existing programs to conform to system changes or to drive improvements in the existing programs
- Design, analyse, encode, debug, and support existing application software
- Write and maintain documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, testing, changes, and corrections
- Monitor functional performance of programs before/during/following implementation
- Collaborate with business users for the purpose of developing and improving products
Technical Environment
- Expertise in Microsoft Technologies, C#, and .NET ecosystem
- Knowledge in HTML5, Vue.JS, SPA
- Experience integrating with ERP systems (D365 or similar).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Microsoft Azure) is a strong asset
- Experience with DevOps practices.

Skills, Education & Personal Attributes
- 4+ years of experience in web software and back-end software development
- NET, C#, ASP.NET, HTML, JavaScript
- SQL Server T-SQL, stored procedures
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Ability to apply established development requirements and standards, promote industry best practices
- Motivated and proactive
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Keen attention to detail
