The Role
You’ll be responsible for:
- Owning the financial reporting process (monthly, quarterly, year-end)
- Managing job costing and project financial performance
- Leading cash flow forecasting and financial planning
- Building and improving financial systems and processes
- Supporting leadership with clear, actionable financial insights
- Overseeing bookkeeping and finance team functions
This role works closely with the President and leadership team and is critical to building a strong, scalable financial foundation for Eagleview.
In This Role You Will
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- Lead monthly close processes and ensure clean, audit-ready books
- Oversee job costing systems and ensure alignment between Buildertrend and QuickBooks
- Work with Project teams to track budgets, identify variances, and improve forecasting
- Manage cash flow forecasting and monitor working capital
- Develop and implement financial processes, controls, and reporting systems
- Lead and support bookkeeping/AP/AR functions
- Coordinate with external accountants for year-end and tax requirements
- Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years experience in accounting or finance (construction or job-costing experience strongly preferred)
- CPA designation (or working toward) is an asset
- Strong understanding of project-based accounting and financial reporting
- Experience with QuickBooks Online (Buildertrend experience a bonus)
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and accountable
- Strong communicator who can translate numbers into clear insights
- Systems thinker who enjoys improving processes and building structure
- Comfortable working independently while collaborating with a team
