This Senior Full-Stack Developer position supports the design and delivery of secure, scalable enterprise web applications on a contract running from June 7, 2026 to December 31, 2027, and requires an active Secret security clearance. While mostly remote, this contract may require travel to the site in Ottawa.
This position requires strong expertise in building modern solutions using JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks such as React, Angular, or Next.js, along with Node.js backend development and secure RESTful API design. Responsibilities include implementing secure authentication flows using MSAL, managing token lifecycle (validation and refresh), and integrating enterprise systems such as Microsoft Graph API. The role also involves working with Azure cloud services including App Service, Key Vault, Storage, Front Door, and Logic Apps, as well as configuring CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps. In addition, this position explores and integrates Generative AI and agentic frameworks into enterprise solutions while ensuring alignment with cybersecurity standards and enterprise architecture.
This position requires hands-on experience designing and implementing identity and entitlement lifecycle solutions within Microsoft Entra ID, including LRA-like delegated administration models, role-based access control, separation of duties, and least-privilege security principles. It also requires strong capability in building secure request/approval workflows, enforcing business rules, and ensuring full auditability and traceability of identity changes. Candidates must have at least 7+ years of enterprise development experience, including 3+ years in IAM/IGA environments, and strong proficiency in Node.js, Express, and frontend frameworks. Deep knowledge of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and token-based security models is essential, along with experience integrating IAM platforms such as SailPoint or similar tools. Strong documentation, problem-solving, and collaboration skills are also required, along with experience working in government or banking environments and familiarity with Zero Trust architecture.
