As An Applications Developer With Sobeys, You Will
- Identify functional and technical solutions to meet requirements for HR based applications.
- Ensure the development of detailed functional, technical and operational specifications for delivery of recommended solutions.
- Provide accurate estimates from analysis and design specifications
- Conduct design and code reviews to ensure the solution delivered conforms to IT standards and quality software delivery practices.
- Code, test, and analyze software programs and applications. This includes researching, documenting, and modifying software and specifications throughout the system development life cycle.
- Ensure all documentation is created, up to date and correct before solution or changes are implemented into production.
- Provide specialized Level 2 & 3 application support. Identify the root cause and resolve underlying issues as needed.
- Work closely with vendors to resolve application incidents in a timely manner.
- Communicate to team members and other teams updated on product backlog status, incidents, and projects, as appropriate.
Your Experience And Resume Will Show Us
- An Undergraduate Degree or a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
- Understanding of application development, support & delivery.
- Experience with integrations and data flows
- Experience with Relational databases and SQL queries
- Comfortable handling and reviewing various data formats such as JSON, XML, and CSV data
- Familiar with common web protocols, including REST APIs, SFTP, and HTTPS Connections
- Familiarity with Agile & Scrum Methodology.
- Experience in working with outsourced service providers and vendor management.
