Company Description
We are a student‑led team that designs and operates the Morrissette Entrepreneurship Maker Spaces at Western University’s Ronald D. Schmeichel Building for Entrepreneurship and Innovation. We provide you with access to over $250,000 in advanced tools and equipment, such as 3D printing, laser cutting, CNC, sewing, woodworking, soldering, and more, empowering you to learn, create and collaborate.
Over the past year, our team of 13 developers has been building a prototyping request dashboard and a full pipeline for the entire 3D printing process from file upload to the fully finished part. We are proud to announce that we passed Western IT’s security audit on our first try and that our services will be hosted as an official part of software at Western soon.
Role Description
We’re now looking to bring on more developers to help push forward changes, further improve our services and operations, and continue building out our system and infrastructure over the summer in preparation for our September launch for everyone at Western to use our services, with opportunities to stay involved beyond that.
