Mobile App Developer - Job Description:
This is a senior Flutter developer position on the client's mobile app team. The project involves implementing changes to the push notifications for check-in and working on other areas of the mobile app. The focus is on resolving an operational issue to enhance the app's functionality.
Mobile App Developer - Responsibilities:
- Design and write robust, extensible, high-quality code that meets business, technical, and quality requirements
- Ensure code is written individually and collaboratively with other developers, adhering to WestJet's coding standards and style guidelines
- Actively promote the daily use of established software development best practices, methodologies, and standards amongst the WestJet software development team
Mobile App Developer - Mandatory Skills:
- Sr level experience with Flutter/Dart
- Sr level knowledge of Swift/Objective C or Kotlin/Java
- Knowledge of mobile platform guidelines
- Ability to produce high-quality mobile implementations from designs and wireframes
- Practical experience with object-oriented software design methodologies, design patterns, and best practices
- Practical understanding of iterative, agile development methods, processes, and techniques such as Scrum
- Experience with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud
Mobile App Developer – Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with development for accessibility
