About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Software Engineer to join our AutoSync team, which supports over 3,500 dealerships nationwide. In this pivotal role, you will contribute to developing and maintaining our largest automotive product suite in Canada. You will work within a dynamic, cross-functional agile team dedicated to building scalable, reliable, and innovative digital solutions. Your responsibilities will include participating in daily agile ceremonies, brainstorming innovative ideas, and implementing cutting-edge solutions that challenge the status quo. As an advocate for high code quality and infrastructure health, you will share knowledge, best practices, and continuously seek improvements to elevate the team's performance. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced technologies, including AI, cloud computing, and modern development frameworks, in a fast-paced environment focused on delivering exceptional value to our users.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience developing reliable, highly available, and scalable software systems
• Strong understanding of software architecture and design patterns
• Proficiency in backend development using Typescript, Node.js, or C#
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL datastores such as GraphQL and Redis
• Hands-on experience with component-based frameworks and SSR technologies like Next.js/React or Vue.js
• Knowledge of modern cloud infrastructure tools such as AWS, Terraform, and Docker
• Experience developing and maintaining third-party content management systems
• Proficiency with APIs and service-based application development
• Strong understanding of clean code principles, coding standards, and testing practices
• Experience leveraging AI tools such as ChatGPT/Codex for rapid development and productivity enhancement
• Experience with version control systems like Git and CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of logging, monitoring, and alerting tools such as Datadog or New Relic
• Familiarity with building optimized, high-performance user interfaces
• Proactive approach to integrating AI-driven solutions into development workflows
  
  

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain scalable, high-availability software solutions for the AutoSync platform
• Participate actively in agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
• Design and implement robust backend services and APIs to support frontend functionalities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to brainstorm innovative features and solutions
• Ensure code quality through rigorous testing, code reviews, and adherence to best practices
• Contribute to infrastructure health by implementing DevOps practices, automation, and security measures
• Explore and integrate new technologies, including AI tools, to improve development efficiency and product capabilities
• Maintain and enhance third-party content management systems and integrate them seamlessly with existing infrastructure
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize applications for performance and scalability
• Document technical specifications, system architecture, and best practices for team knowledge sharing
• Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and workflow automation using AI and other advanced tools
