About The Role
We are seeking a talented Backend Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in transforming legacy banking platforms by integrating third-party vendor solutions with our core banking systems. Your expertise will help modernize our infrastructure using contemporary cloud technologies and microservices architecture. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product owners, architects, and other engineers, to design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable backend services. Your problem-solving skills and passion for continuous learning will contribute to delivering high-value solutions that enhance customer experience and operational efficiency. Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience in backend software development
- Proven hands-on experience building applications using Java
- Experience working with Microsoft Azure cloud platform
- Familiarity with Kubernetes container orchestration
- Experience using CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions for deployment
- Strong understanding of RESTful API development and integration
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain cloud-based backend services that are scalable, secure, and reliable
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs to facilitate internal and external system interactions
- Participate in the modernization of legacy applications using microservices architecture
- Deploy, monitor, and support services in production environments through CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions
- Conduct code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning to optimize system performance
- Support operational excellence through monitoring, logging, and incident management
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry best practices to continuously improve solutions
